Our Caregiver Training

We exceed Alberta requirements with thorough, paid training designed to build confidence and skill.

Alberta HCA curriculum alignment + clinical placements
Current CPR/First Aid certification (paid renewal)
Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) for dementia
Safe transfers, fall prevention, infection control, and medication assistance
Minimum 12 hours annual continuing education + monthly team sessions
Paid orientation and shadowing with experienced caregivers

Certification Requirements

Required:

Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate or equivalent
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check

Preferred (we can help you obtain):

Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care® training
Dementia care specialization
Medication administration certification
